This beautiful 3 story townhouse with downtown views is the ideal stop for both business and leisure travelers. Comes with 3BR, 3.5 Bath, full kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry, garage and spectacular rooftop deck.

The space

The townhome is an eco-friendly 3 story townhouse with wood floors and high ceilings throughout 2350 square feet. Enjoy dedicated outdoor space with downtown views from the rooftop terrace, garage parking and walking to everything you need in this ideal downtown Dallas location.

This townhouse is our personal residence and is not a full time rental property. I work from home and my husband is a high school teacher with plenty of vacation days which provides us many opportunities to do what we love, traveling. While we are on the road, we rent out our home. In addition to its comfortable lived in feel and fully stocked kitchen and laundry room, it is ideally located for business travelers and tourists alike right in the heart of Dallas.

Our townhouse comes furnished with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with 1 king and 2 queen size beds and easily accommodates 6 adult guests. We also have two oversized sofas and two air mattresses available for guests that prefer individual sleeping arrangements. Children are also welcome and we have a pack ‘n play available for any babies/infants in your party.

In addition to the living room, all three bedrooms come furnished with LED TVs with over the air access to local HD channels as well as Youtube TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu and other streaming content via Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Roku. There is wireless internet access throughout the home. The living room entertainment center includes surround sound speakers in the ceiling.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils and cooking gear and with the farmers market just steps away you can easily whip yourself up a home cooked meal.

Guests will also have access to the laundry room which has a high efficiency front loading washer, dryer and is stocked with detergent, bleach and fabric softener.

On the rooftop terrace there is patio furniture for hanging out and enjoying the Dallas skyline.

There is space available for two cars in the attached garage and street parking is available nearby for additional vehicles.

Guests will access the property through keypad locks on the front door and garage using their own individual passcodes.

As I’m sure you can understand, We like to know who is renting our house while we’re away. In your inquiry please include your reason for visiting Dallas and a brief description of the individuals in your party.

Inside our garage we have a 40 amp level 2 electric car charger with a J1772 connector and a maximum output of 9.6 kW of power. Guests with electric vehicles are welcome to charge their vehicles while parked in our garage at a rate of $0.15 per kW. Please let us know if you are bringing an electric vehicle prior to your arrival so we can make sure the charger is unlocked.

During the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas and other special events we may require a three night minimum for reservations.

Early check-in at 12:00 pm or late check-out at 4:00 pm may be available for an additional fee of $50 when approved in advance.

The space

This space includes a queen size bed, dresser, closet, Roku TV and attached private bathroom. It’s located on the 3rd floor on the back side of my home away from the street noise of downtown Dallas.

Guest access

The rental includes shared access to the kitchen and living room on the second floor, the laundry facilities and the rooftop deck. Covered parking is not included with this listing. There are a limited number of guest spots in the driveway behind our home if those are occupied we will help you find another place to park nearby.

During your stay

I enjoy meeting new people and welcome interaction with all of my guests but also am respectful of their privacy and time and as such will provide as much or as little interaction as my guests desire. I will generally be present in the home during your stay.

Other things to note

We provide all guests with a personal passcode to the front door which allows for a contactless check-in and check-out experience. Our guests are welcome to use the kitchen and rooftop without restriction. During your stay, our primary guest room on the ground floor will most likely be occupied by a different guest and the common areas will be shared space by all occupants.

Airport transfers are available for an additional charge.

Private Room in Canton Townhouse

Comfortable and private guest room with a queen size bed, desk, couch, TV, attached bathroom and more, located all by itself on the first floor of a 3 story downtown townhome. Enjoy the privacy of staying on your own floor, coming and going as you please using keypad locks and your own personal pass-code while at the same time enjoying all the comforts of home including a kitchen, living/dining area, covered parking, laundry and a rooftop terrace with a downtown view of the Dallas skyline.

The space

Your guest room includes a queen size bed, couch, desk, mini-fridge, Keurig coffee brewer, TV and DVD player, attached private bathroom and in room wi-fi internet access. Local HD channels and cable programming are accessible via Youtube TV. Amazon Prime, Netflix and other streaming content is also available via Amazon FireTV.

Thank you for considering our guest room. My husband and I are both fully vaccinated and while we welcome personal contact, we provide all guests with a passcode to the front door (and garage) for the duration of their stay, which allows for a completely contactless check-in and check-out experience. Our guests are welcome to use the kitchen and rooftop without restriction. We have implemented extreme cleaning and sanitizing measures to ensure that the guest room and bathroom are completely sanitized prior to arrival. We also have a second guest room on the third floor that we rent out from time to time. Should that room be rented during your stay, common areas will be shared by all occupants.

Guest access

This private guest bedroom and attached bathroom are the only rooms on the street level and as such allow guests to come and go as they please whether through the garage or the front door without disturbing anyone. In addition, there is a thermostat in the guest room that allows exclusive temperature control for the first floor. While our street is pretty quiet in the evenings, you will be downtown at street level and will have some traffic noise during weekdays that normally begins around 7am. The rental will also include shared access to the kitchen and living room on the second floor, the laundry facilities on the third floor and the rooftop deck. Guests will receive a dedicated parking spot for one vehicle inside the garage.
